Byzantine Lace Chainmaille Day Collar

This wonderfully tactile Byzantine Lace Collar is a great gift for that special person in your life. This is a denser weave than the Byzantine filigree collar and is a heavy weight (194 grammes) piece: this really does catch the eye at quite a distance. The large stainless steel welded O ring is 1 3/4" or 45 Cm in diameter. The multishackle clasp is specifically designed for Chainmaille Armour and the pin is captive so it wont come undone accidently. The Multishackle allows you to clasp 3 sections all at once in one easy step and it can with practice be closed one handed.
The Collar is made with stainless steel hand coiled and cut rings woven one ring at a time. It is one of my heavier pieces but is very comfortable to wear. The Stainless steel warms to body temperature so makes this piece feel a part of you.
The collar measures 1 1/4" or 33Cm wide and 2/16th" or 7mm depth approx made to your neck measurements in length.
Sizing Information:
Using a flexible measuring tape or seamstress tape carefully take an accurate measurement around your natural neckline, don't pull the measuring tape too tightly. Due to the thickness of this collar your collar size will be between 0.5 and 0.75 inches above your natural neck measurement. The O ring should sit centrally between your chin and collarbone. If you would like the collar to fit with a little more slack we recommend a size between 1 and 1.25 inches above your natural neck measurement the O ring would then sit in the hollow of your collarbone.
Byzantine Lace is a weave which will hold its structure it molds to the neck, If you require a more structured higher postural collar please contact me before ordering.
